Why Yoga?

Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years. It is a system of physical and mental exercises with the ultimate goal of freedom. Physically it promotes stability, energy, flexibility and relaxation. Mentally it promotes concentration, balance and calmness. Regular yoga practice can lead to positive changes in your quality of life. And it is never too late to start!!

Yoga has always included breathing exercises and concentration or meditation practices. Breathing exercises(pranayama) direct attention to your physical and mental state, reduce stress and connect your body with your mind. Meditation nourishes your connection to a space of stillness and silence that already exists within you.


The practice of yoga adjusts and realigns your body to bring it back to its natural balance by freeing the habitual blocks and tension acquired over the years. When practiced in combination with a customized Ayurvedic program, the results can be simply transformative.
